Bees Knees Lacquer – Spirit is a lightweight, ridge-filling base coat designed to smooth the nail surface and create an even canvas for polish application. With a clear, slightly glossy finish, it helps conceal minor nail imperfections and improves the wear and appearance of sheer or jelly polishes layered on top. Its formula is cruelty‑free and “5‑free” (free from camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, DBP, and formaldehyde resins), and it's hand‑mixed in small batches for consistent quality.

What makes Spirit ideal for prepping nails is its ability to fill in texture without adding color—meaning your polish lays down slick and ultra‑even. Typically, two thin coats are recommended if you have noticeable ridges, followed by your favorite color polish and a top coat.
